My Approach to Helping

Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, or grief that feels overwhelming? Are you experiencing mounting struggles in parenting or marriage? Do these challenges affect your daily life, relationships, or work? It's easy to feel lost or exhausted when trying to meet expectations or simply get through the day. But there is hope. Imagine waking up with a sense of purpose, feeling connected to yourself, others, and your faith, embracing life's possibilities with confidence. Healing is not just possible—it's within your reach.

At Revelation Counseling Center I offer personalized, Christian counseling care tailored to you. Together, we'll uncover your God-given strengths, develop tools for lasting change, and create a life filled with meaning, peace, and fulfillment. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space with in-person or virtual appointments to fit your schedule.

Helping clients find hope is my mission. That might mean giving yourself permission to slow down, learning to set boundaries, working through a loss or life transition, or changing behavior that’s keeping you stuck. My goal is to help you feel better so you can live the life you want! Contact me today for a free consultation and start living better today!

More Info About My Practice

My counseling approach is warm, open, and collaborative—rooted in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care. I focus on empowering clients through their own strengths, promoting autonomy, and helping them develop practical skills to navigate life’s challenges. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply need a safe space to talk, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, respect, and solution-focused support.

For clients who desire it, I offer Christian faith integration as part of the counseling process. I am actively engaged in my own Christian faith and enjoy working from a Christ-centered perspective, while always honoring each client’s individual beliefs and background. My commitment is to provide a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space for everyone—I welcome and support clients from all walks of life. Faith integration is entirely optional and never required to receive care.

I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and bring over 11 years of experience in both private practice and community mental health settings. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow—personally, relationally, and spiritually.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

The client-therapist relationship is one of the most important factors in successful counseling. Every client deserves to work with a therapist they feel comfortable with, safe to open up to, and able to trust--especially when receiving support that may be both encouraging and, at times, gently challenging.

A strong therapeutic alliance creates the foundation for meaningful progress and effective treatment. I prioritize building and maintaining this relationship throughout the counseling process and encourage clients to regularly reflect on their experience, growth, and our working relationship. Open dialogue helps ensure that the counseling process remains collaborative, goal-focused, and aligned with each client?s unique needs and values.
